MAYA is producing a written series of postnatal stories from real mums. Postnatal Portraits is a library of candid accounts, reflections and deep dives from parents about the realities of life with a newborn.

The idea is much like the ‘birth stories’ - that you might have read while pregnant to support and reassure you with your birth - but these will be ‘after birth’ stories.

They are frank, raw and candid accounts, reflections and deep dives from parents of newborns. A place to share and normalise the thoughtful, weird, sad, wonderful, joyful, testing and mundane moments that take place in the postpartum.
